EXPORT OF SAMPLES

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to paragraph 2(i) – Chapter XII of the Foreign Exchange Manual (7^th Edition, 1992) in terms whereof export by a registered exporter during a calendar year free of charge, inter-alia, of bonafide trade sample, F.O.B. value whereof does not exceed US$ 1000.00 is exempt from the prescribed export procedure. It has now been decided by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan vide Notification No.759(I)/94 dated the 4^th August, 1994 to increase the above limit to US$ 1000.00. Consequently, in line 5 – para 2 (I) – Chapter XII of the Foreign Exchange Manual (7^th Edition, 1992) the word / figure of US$ 1000.00 may be changed to US$ 2000.00
