WAIVER OF IMPORT FEE

Attention of the Authorized Dealers is invited to F.E. Circular 49 dated the 14^th June, 1994 on the above subject.

2. In case any Authorized Dealer has recovered import fee from the importers in respect of letters of credit opened / contracts registered after 9^th June, 1994, the same may be refunded. If the import fee in respect of letters of credit opened / contracts registered after the 9^th June, 1994 has been deposited in the State Bank of Pakistan, a refund may be obtained thereof. Necessary instructions in this regard are being issued to the area Chief Managers of State Bank of Pakistan.
