ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE AGREEMENTS FOR ROYALTY / TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Attention of the Authorized Dealers is invited to Para 10 (a) (II), Chapter XIV of the Foreign Exchange Manual (1992 Edition) in terms of which local firms / companies engaged in manufacturing are required to send to us authenticated copy of the Agreement relating to payment of Royalty / Technical Fee through their bankers for our acknowledgement. With a view to ensuring prompt action in the matter, it has been decided that requests for such acknowledgements shall be made to us on a prescribed application form as per Annexure 'A' attached to this Circular.

2. Accordingly, following sentence may be added after the full stop in the 9^th lines of Para 10 (a) (II), Chapter XIV of the Manual ibid:

    "Application for acknowledgement will be made on Form prescribed in Annexure 'A' ".
