RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT TO HOME TEXTILES AND DYED/PRINTED CLOTH MANUFACTURING UNITS

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to FE Circulars No.12 &13 dated August 28, 2006 and September 14, 2006 enclosing therewith copies of Ministry of Textile Industry’s SRO No. 803(I)/2006 dated August 04, 2006 & SRO No. 931(I)/2006 dated August 25, 2006 in terms of which R&D Support to Home Textiles & Dyed/Printed Cloth Manufacturing-Cum-Exporting Units was allowed subject to the terms & conditions as mentioned therein.

Now, Ministry of Textile Industry’s vide SRO No. 1128(I)/2006 dated November 10, 2006 has made certain amendments in its earlier SROs.

A copy of the said SRO No.1128(1)/2006, containing revised/amended eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure for filing claims for R&D support, is enclosed for strict compliance by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
