6% RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT TO THE GARMENTS INDUSTRY

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to FE Circular No. 06 dated June 18, 2005 on the captioned subject in terms of which 6% R&D Support was allowed to the garment industry.

Ministry of Commerce vide SRO No. 974(I)/2006 dated September 14, 2006 has made certain amendments in its earlier SRO No. 437(1)/2005 dated May 18, 2005. A copy of the said SRO, containing amendments for filing claims for R&D support, is enclosed for strict compliance by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
