Research and Development Support (LEATHER FOOTWEAR SECTOR)

In terms of Ministry of Commerce’s SRO No. 871(I)/2006 dated August 25, 2006, the Government of Pakistan has decided to allow R&D Support to leather footwear units manufacturing and exporting leather footwear falling under Chapters 64 of the Pakistan Customs Tariff at the rate of 6% of FOB value of exports.

A copy of the above mentioned SRO, containing eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure for filing claims for R&D support, is being enclosed for strict compliance of the same by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
