Dear Sirs / Madam,

Remittance of Membership/Affiliation Fee to Professional Bodies/Principals Abroad

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to para 15 of Chapter XVI of FE Manual (8th Edition 2002) in terms of which Authorized Dealers are allowed to make remittances on behalf of individuals covering subscriptions or membership fee at actual, to bonafide scientific, technical, professional and educational Institutions aboard.

With a view to further enhance scope of this permission, it has since been decided that in addition to the individuals, the above facility will also be available to institutions/professional bodies in Pakistan with international affiliations.

Consequently, Authorized Dealers may allow remittances on account of membership/affiliation fees payable by a local business/professional entity to the principals abroad, in line with the instructions contained in above mentioned para of FE Manual.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
