Instructions for Legacies and other Distribution of Assets of Deceased Persons
           Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to Para 3 - Chapter 16 of the Foreign Exchange Manual, which inter alia, sets out the requirements for legal heirs (non-residents) who intend to remit funds abroad, on account of their share of inheritance, from the Estate of Deceased Persons.
2.         In order to facilitate the non-resident legal heirs and in view of the empowerment of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to issue Letters of Administration and Succession Certificates, it has been decided to suitably amend the aforesaid Para, which is attached as Annexure-A.


3.            Authorized Dealers are advised to ensure meticulous compliance of the revised instructions.
