Compensatory Support (7.5% Duty Borne by the Polyestry Industry) Order, 2008

In terms of Ministry of Textile Industry’s SRO No. 1045 (I)/2008 dated 19-09-2008, published in the Gazette of Pakistan on October 07, 2008, the Government of Pakistan has decided to allow Compensatory Support @ 7.5% as per prescribed procedure to the existing PTA users or consumers as mentioned in the said SRO and any other user approved by the MINTEX, who becomes eligible in future, to offset the impact of PTA duty on polyester chain products manufacturer from locally procured PTA through SBP-BSC (Bank) Offices.

A copy of the above mentioned SRO, containing eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure for filing claims for Compensator Support, is being enclosed for strict compliance of the same by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
