RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT TO MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY

In terms of Ministry of Commerce’s SRO No. 200(I)/2008 dated March 1, 2008, the Government of Pakistan has decided to allow an equivalent amount of US$ 50 in PKR as R&D Support to every completely built-up unit of motorcycle exported, falling under Heading No.87.11 of the Pakistan Customs Tariff, at the conversion rate indicated in export proceeds realization certificate.

A copy of the above mentioned SRO, containing eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure for filing claims of R&D support, is enclosed for strict compliance of the same by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
