Timings for Availing SBP Overnight Repo / Reverse-Repo Facilities

Under Interest Rate Corridor Mechanism

Please refer to the instructions issued vide DMMD Circular No.1 dated August 15th, 2009 and BPRD Circular No.11 dated October 14th, 2011, in compliance with Federal Government’s decision of observing five day working week.

1. The time for intimating amount to State Bank of Pakistan by banks desirous of availing the SBP Overnight Repo/ Reverse Repo Facility from State Bank of Pakistan will be between 3:30pm to 4:30pm from Monday to Friday.
2. Above changes are effective from October 17th, 2011.
3. Other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain unchanged.
