OPENING OF BRANCHES/OFFICES FOR FACILITATION OF TAX COLLECTION

1. It is informed that SBP-BSC field offices and authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan will remain open for extended hours on September 30, 2013 for collection of Taxes. Further NIFT will provide special clearing facility after 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2013 (Monday) in order to ensure that all receipts collected on September 30, 2013 are credited to Government Accounts on the same date.
2. In order to facilitate collection of taxes, banks are advised to open such branches and other offices on September 30, 2013 (Monday) till such time that is necessary to facilitate special clearing by NIFT to be held after 5:00 p.m.
