Treatment for Investments in Collective Investment Schemes/Mutual Funds /Private Equity Funds for CAR Purpose

Please refer to BPRD Circular No. 6 dated August 15, 2013, and its relevant chapter containing instructions on the captioned subject.

2. In this regard, SBP has revised its relevant instructions to keep it aligned with the latest regulations issued by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, which are attached as Appendix-A. These instructions will replace SBP’s instructions contained in Chapter 04 issued vide aforementioned circular and become effective from December 31, 2026.
