State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following position in the External Relations Department, based at Karachi.

Digital Editor (OG-5)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
	Supervise and create user friendly content and keep the SBP web updated in coordination with other departments .
	Supervise and create social media content to promote SBP website and Blog activities.
	Produce and coordinate with SBP staff to prepare articles on topical issues of the economy for SBP Blog.
	Invite and coordinate guest contributors for SBP Blog to provide expert opinions and views on the economy and financial sector .
	Integrated content management maintaining quality and consistency across media types and web platforms and drive increased traffic and brand visibility.
	Build relationship and coordinate with contributors to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
	Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as web designers, marketing executives and photographers to improve content strategy.
	Proofread and edit material.
	Perform any other assignment, which may be assigned by senior management from time to time

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education	Masters or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) in Mass Communication/ Media management/ Journalism/ Economics/Business Administration/Finance/Languages or related discipline from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university.
Age:	Maximum 50 years, as of the date of submission of application (as per CNIC). Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.
Experience:	At least 10 years’ experience as producer/editor/team lead with at least 4 years in a middle management position.
Competencies:	Excellent proofreading, editing and copywriting skills Available portfolio of published work In-depth knowledge of software such as InDesign, Photoshop, etc. In-depth knowledge of best SEO practices and marketing Knowledge of content management systems.
