capacity and as part of Strategic Plan to
strengthen HR base, SBP invites applications
from talented, self-motivated, result oriented
and energetic software engineers for following
Karachi based positions. Contractual positions
are for an initial 2-year period, which may
be further extended subject to business need
and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.

The software development
positions listed below cover a diverse cross-section
of business-side vertical functions and a
horizontal spread of software systems such
as Temenos T24 core banking solution, Oracle
E-Business Suite (ERP), Custom Built OLTP
Applications, IBM Business Process Management
solution, IBM Enterprise Content Management
solution, and Data Warehouse.
Prospective candidates are required to possess:
a) Excellent interpersonal, as well as verbal
and written communication skills.
b) Ability to liaison and coordinate with
business-side stakeholders, customers &
end-users to understand and document existing
business processes and automation requirements.
c) Ability to transform business requirements
into technical solution proposals.
d) Experience of developing enterprise level,
web enabled solutions to automate business
processes, operations and workflows in various
business domains utilizing various software
tools, technologies, databases and systems
integration solutions.
e) Exposure to Agile Scrum project management
methodologies.
f) Patience to learn and subsequently provide
technical support on operational systems.
g) Skills to write and maintain technical
documentation and end-user manuals.
h) Skills to train to end-users and technical
team members as and when required.
i) Ability to engage with relevant technical
teams to perform tasks such as technical configuration,
performance tuning, software quality assurance,
build, manage and upgrade cyber security controls,
diagnose technical issues and perform troubleshooting.
j) Passion to acquire knowledge, skills, expertise
and certifications to keep abreast with the
ongoing evolution in software technology.

Drupal
Developer (Contractual) |
Key responsibilities of the incumbent
will include, but not limited to, the following:

Developing
enterprise level, web enabled, software
solutions to automate business processes,
operations and workflows utilizing Drupal
platform. |

Criteria: |
Experience:
|
Minimum of 4 years of
post-qualification hands-on industry experience
of developing application software utilizing
Drupal, PHP, MySQL and Java technologies.
Working experience of IBM BPM Systems.
Working knowledge of application integration
services e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
Working experience of designing and development
of database schemas in various DBMS such
as Oracle, DB2 and NoSQL.
Candidates having Enterprise Service Bus
implementation experience will be given
preference.
