State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in its quest of facilitating financing to farmers, has revised the Report on Indicative Credit Limits and Eligible Items for Agri. Financing to align with inflationary adjustments and current market practices. The revised report will also facilitate provincial planning departments in estimating the total financial and credit requirements of respective provinces/regions for farm and non-farm sectors.

2. The per acre credit limits are indicative in nature and may be adjusted by banks based on the actual credit requirements of the borrowers, market conditions, and prevailing prices of inputs while sanctioning the credit limit of the borrowers.

3. Banks are advised to circulate the above instructions to their field offices immediately for compliance.
