Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to FE Circular No. 06 dated July 14, 2018 containing instructions regarding advance payments against imports.

2.         In addition to the concessions allowed for import of items specified in EPD Circular Letter No. 13 dated August 29, 2018 and EPD Circular Letter No. 15 dated September 14, 2018, it has now been decided to allow the Authorized Dealers to effect advance payments upto USD 10,000 per invoice on behalf of importers cum exporters for import of raw materials and spare parts for their own use only.

3.         All other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.

4.         Authorized Dealers are advised to ensure meticulous compliance of the above instructions.
