DISPUTE RESOLUTION THORUGH MEDIATION

1. Please refer to letter No. BP&RD/BLRD-08/2009-1673 dated 9th March, 2009 through which an order of Honourable Sindh High Court was forwarded to the Banks/DFIs, highlighting the Alternate Dispute Resolution as an additional avenue of dispute settlement.
2. Since Karachi Centre for Dispute Resolution has been established to promote alternate dispute resolution mechanism, hence Banks/DFIs are encouraged to approach them for the purpose. Banks/DFIs may implement the settlement reached through this mediation process after getting necessary internal approvals from their competent authority.
