Export Finance Scheme - Export of 500 metric tons Wheat

Please refer to BSD Circular No. 08 dated 16th February, 2002 on the captioned subject.

2. Pursuant to the issuance of mechanism/procedure / conditions for export of 500,000 Metric Tons of wheat by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture & Livestock (copy of which has already been circulated vide EPD Circular Letter No. 04 / EPP 1(51) Wheat-PER-2007 dated February 28, 2007) following instructions are issued for compliance with immediate effect:
   1. Export finance facility for export of wheat shall be available to the exporters of wheat, from private sector, under Part-I on Post shipment basis only against shipments made up to 15th June, 2007.
   2. The refinance loans so availed shall have to be repaid by 30th June, 2007.
3. Other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
