Dear Sirs/Madam,

3-DAY REPO FACILITY

Please refer to BSD Circular No 06 dated January 31, 2002, in terms of which SBP 3-Day Repo Facility was allowed to Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) and Investment Banks (IBs) on the same terms and conditions as of the Commercial Banks.

Now it has been decided to restrict SBP 3-Day Repo facility to Scheduled Banks and any Non-Bank institution working as Primary Dealer.

The above instructions would come into effect from Saturday, 07 July, 2007.
