PRIMARY DEALER SELECTION FOR THE YEAR 2007-08

Applications are invited from interested financial institutions for appointment as Primary Dealer of Government Securities for the year 2007-08. For this purpose, EDMD Circular No.11, dated August 27, 2005 regarding criteria and rules governing Primary Dealers, may be referred. The circular is accessible at https://www.sbp.org.pk/circulars/edmd-circular-no-11-of-2005. The applicants are requested to furnish the following information along with the application:

1. Latest Annual Report.
2. Summary of month wise Secondary Market Transactions in PIB/FIB and MTBs from July 1, 2006 to June 09, 2007.

Applications from current Primary Dealers and Non Primary Dealers must reach Financial Markets Strategy & Conduct Department, latest by June 15, 2007.
