EXPORT TO IRAQ

Authorized Dealers are aware that hitherto export of medicines and food items to Iraq was exempt from the requirement of obtaining clearance from the United Nations.

2. We have now been advised by the Government that henceforth under the relevant Security Council Resolution, clearance will also be needed from the United Nations Sanction Committee on Iraq for the export of medicines and foodstuffs to Iraq.

3. Please bring the above to the notice of your constituents.
