Dear Sirs,

AMENDMENT IN FOREIGN EXCHANGE MANUAL

We have to advise that consequent upon the change of name of the ANZ Grindlays Bank to Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank Limited and the descheduling of the Bank of America on account of its merger with Union Bank Limited, the names of ANZ Grindlays -GBL appearing at Serial No.5 and Bank of America NT & S.A. - BAM appearing at Serial No.8 in the Appendix IV (Vol.I) of the Foreign Exchange Manual 7th Edition, 1992 have been deleted. The name of Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank Limited with the prefix SGB is added as per attached Appendix IV since revised.
