Dear Sirs/Madam,

Drawback of Local Taxes and Levies Order, 2009

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to EPD Circular Letter No. 03/EPP1(51) DLTL-2010 dated February 23, 2010 enclosing there with a copy of Ministry of Textile Industry’s Notification No. 3(1)TID/09-P-I dated February 15, 2010.

Now, Ministry of Textile Industry vide its letter No. 3(1) TID/09-P-I dated February 24, 2010 has clarified that the provisions of the above mentioned Notification are applicable only to the shipments made after the issuance of the same i.e. after 15-02-2010.

Further, the Ministry has granted a one-time extension of time limit for filing of Drawback claims. Accordingly, all exporters bearing Permanent or Provisional (whether valid or expired) Registration Certificates may submit

Drawback claims till 31-03-2010 in respect of shipments made after 01-09-2009.

A copy of the said letter is enclosed for strict compliance of the same by the Authorized Dealers.

Authorized Dealers are also advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
