Dear Sirs/Madam,

REPORTING OF DEMAND AND TIME LIABILITIES AND
CASH RESERVES THEREAGAINST – MMCRS

Please refer to BSD Circular No. 09 dated July 18, 2006 wherein banks have been directed to maintain separate Cash Reserve against their Time and Demand liabilities.

In this connection, all banks are advised as follows,

1. MMCRS data capture screens are being revised and all concerned will be informed as soon as new screens are available for data entry. Till that time banks will continue sending their information on current format
2. However, for management of liquidity position, banks are requested to send information in respect of cash required against demand and time liability separately to EDMD as defined in aforesaid BSD Circular through hard copy as well as through e-mail on [email protected] by 9:30 a.m daily. Information regarding Demand and Time Liability for the week may separately be updated also on each Tuesday by 10:30 a.m.

These instructions will be effective from July 22, 2006. However other instruction on the subject will remain unchanged..
