FACILITATION MEASURES FOR PENSIONERS

Please find enclosed a copy of Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad letter dated November 12, 2015 contents of which are self explanatory on the captioned subject.

In this regard it is advised that as decided in the meeting held under the chairmanship of honorable Finance Minister on October 16, 2015 on facilitation measures for Pensioners, the banks are required to redress Pensioners’ grievances, establish special counters for Pensioners, facilitate conversion to Direct Credit System, generate alerts in cases where life/non marriage certificate is not received for six months and for block payments.

It is advised to implement the above decision in letter and spirit by December 31, 2015.
