State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for following positions in the Statistics and Data Warehouse Department, based at Karachi.

Assistant Director (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
	Data collection: To collect data from financial institutions, non-financial corporations, government departments, and international organizations through already established electronic data collection systems in SBP.
	Data validation: To validate the data considering existing SBP/SECP regulations for financial institutions/non-financial corporations in addition to statistical norms/methodologies.
	Data reconciliation: To reconcile the data in cases where data is reported to multiple divisions/departments of SBP and/or government organizations.
	Data compilation: To compile different data sets, including Broad Money Supply (M2), Balance of Payments, and International Investment Position, following relevant updated manuals and guidelines issued by international statistical organizations / departments.
	Data dissemination: To disseminate the final data to different stakeholders through SBP Economic Data Page / Data Portal as per advance release calendar for SBP data.
	Data publication: To publish different periodical statistical publications, including Monthly Statistical Bulletin and Annual Handbook of Statistics, through SBP Economic Data Page and in print form.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Bachelor's or Master's Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Statistics or other related fields from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.
Age:	Maximum 29 years as on the last date to submit application. Relaxation may be allowed in case of additional relevant experience.
Experience:	Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
Skills:	Working knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel). Working knowledge of at least one Statistical language / package (R, Python, EViews etc.)
