ON INTERNAL CONTROLS
Please
refer to Para 2 of BSD Circular No. 01 dated January 13,
2006 on the subject.
2.
State Bank has received representations from banks for extension
in implementation of clause 7(c) of "Guidelines on
Internal Controls" issued vide BSD Circular 07 dated
May 27, 2004. The matter has been reviewed and it has been
decided to defer the implementation of the said clause for
the year ending December 31, 2006.
3.
All other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain
unchanged.
