State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, regulates the monetary and credit system of country and fosters its growth in the best national interest with a view to securing monetary stability and optimum utilization of the country’s productive resources. Consistent strengthening of its regulatory and supervisory regime is reflected in the performance and resilience of the banking sector in the face of recent challenging macro financial environment.

SBP is looking for high caliber and dynamic professionals for the contractual positions in Banking Policy & Regulations Department, based at Karachi.


 Data Analyst


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Interpret data, analyses results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators.
Study and report new developments in data science as highlighted in news media, international publications by BIS, FSB other international bodies.

Demonstrate excellence in performing complex conservation treatments

Keep abreast and up-to-date with latest developments in the field of data science and data analytics.
Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
Receive and process information regarding data analytics form FIs.
Provide policy reviews, guidelines and interpretation to FIs and internal stakeholders.


 Eligibility Criteria:



Education:

Masters or Bachelors with 16 years of education in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.

Age:

Maximum 35 years. Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.

 Experience:

Minimum 5 years post-qualification relevant experience.

Cybersecurity Officer



Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Ensure that deadlines for submission of cybersecurity reporting are met.
Coordinate with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) regarding information security breaches and cybersecurity threats and incidents.
Keep abreast and up-to-date with latest developments in the field of cybersecurity.
Study and report new developments in cybersecurity published by NIST, CERTs and other international bodies
Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
Receive and process information regarding cybersecurity threats, breaches and incidents received from FIs.

 Eligibility Criteria:

 

Education:

Masters or Bachelors with 16 years of education in Computer Science.

 

Age:

Maximum 35 years. Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.

 Experience:

Minimum 5 years post-qualification relevant experience.



Digital Banking Officer


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders including Government and international development agencies in the field of digital banking.
Study and report new developments in technology through different sources including but not limited to news media, international publications by BIS, FSB other international bodies.
Keep abreast and up-to-date with latest developments in the field of technology.
Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
Receive and process information regarding technological advancements form FIs.
Provide policy reviews, guidelines and interpretation to FIs and internal stakeholders


 Eligibility Criteria:

 

Education:

Masters or Bachelors with 16 years of education in Computer Science or related field.

 

Age:

Maximum 35 years. Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.

 Experience:

Minimum 5 years post-qualification relevant experience.
