State Bank of Pakistan, the Central Bank of the country, regulates the monetary and credit system of Pakistan and fosters its growth in the best national interest with a view to securing monetary stability and optimum utilization of the country's productive resources. In order to strengthen the institutional capacity in the areas of Risk Management and to meet emerging challenges, applications are invited from high calibre and dynamic professionals for the following positions, permanently based at Karachi.

Deputy Director (OG-3)

 

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

	Facilitate and support in formulation of policies, procedures and guidelines for enterprise risk management and its associated policies.
	Liaise with bank wide risk owners, consolidate highlighted risk areas and prepare necessary documentation for the consideration of higher management.
	Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and identify various risks faced by risk owners.
	Develop and maintain "risk registers" based on identified risks and highlight the gaps and lapses to senior management.
	Coordinate with relevant departments for risk mitigation and monitoring of key risk indicators..
	Ensure compliance of risk tolerance levels / risk appetite of the Bank.
	Prepare minutes of the meetings of Management Committee on ERM (MC-ERM) and maintain necessary documents.

Assistant Director (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

	Assist in formulation of policies, procedures and guidelines for enterprise risk management.
	Support in coordination with the organization wide risk owners, collect risks and prepare necessary documentation for the consideration of higher management.
	Assist in quantitative and qualitative analysis to help identify various risks faced by risk owners.
	Update the "risk registers" and consolidate the identify gaps and lapses.
	Provide support to risk owners for implementation of approved operational guidelines and risk mitigates.
	Prepare preliminary report on incidents reported from SBP and its subsidiaries.
	Review and follow up incidents reported to Risk Management Department.
	Prepare periodic report on incident reporting and its resolution at Risk Management Department.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:   Masters or Bachelors Degree with 16 years of education in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Information Technology or any other relevant field from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university. Certification in Risk Management will be preferred.

Experience:      For OG-3 at least 06 years post qualification experience in the core business areas of organization including minimum 03 years experience in risk management. For OG-2 at least 03 years post qualification experience in core business areas of organization.

Age:                  Maximum age limit for OG-2 and OG-3 position is 31 and 35 years respectively which may be relaxed in case of higher qualification or more experience.
