State Bank of Pakistan, the Central Bank of the country, regulates the monetary and credit system of Pakistan and fosters its growth in the best national interest with a view to securing monetary stability and optimum utilization of the country's productive resources. In order to strengthen the institutional capacity in the area of External Relations and to meet emerging challenges due to emergence of electronic and social media etc, applications are invited from high calibre and dynamic professionals for the following technical/specialized positions in External Relations Department, permanently based at Karachi.



1. Joint Director- Advertisements and Publication - (OG-4)


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Design, develop and prepare feasibility reports of various media campaigns through advertisements and other activities.
  • Place and process payments of advertisements and media campaigns on print and electronic media for SBP, SBP-BSC, Field Offices, NIBAF, etc.
  • Prepare, manage and monitor Annual Departmental & Corporate Advertisement Budgets in line with the approved business plans. 
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) on media related activities.
  • Coordinate with Advertising Agencies to finalize the arrangements and placement of advertisements both in domestic and foreign print & electronic media on behalf of SBP Departments, SBP-BSC, SBP Field Offices and NIBAF etc.
  • Coordinate and maintain business relationship with agencies like All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA), Press Information Department (PID), Advertising Companies, Print and Electronic Media etc. to carry out the assignments related to media effectively.
  • Ensure timely designing, printing and delivery of the publications to various internal (All SBP Departments, SBP BSC, NIBAF) and external stakeholders (Media Houses, Academies, Ex Employees, Electronic Media, DFIs NBFIs, Ex-Governors, Subscribers, Foreign Central Banks, Worldwide Libraries etc).
  • Provide technical and administrative liaison to printing press or relevant department of SBP.
  • Keep proper record of publications' inflows, outflows and their balances at stores and Keeping reasonable stock to meet contingency needs.
 Eligibility Criteria:  
 Qualification Masters or Bachelors (16 years) degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems & Technology, Mathematics, Mass Communications, Media and Communication Sciences or any other discipline related to SBP’s working from HEC recognized universities or equivalent degree from a reputable foreign university.
 Age Maximum 40 years, relaxable in case the candidate posseses exceptional qualification and experience.
 Experience At least ten (10) years post qualification relevant experience with 03 years in middle management capacity in a well established national or international advertising or allied agencies.

2. Web Content Editor (OG-4)


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Plan, create, edit and publish timely information on SBP's internal and external websites.
  • Review contents for accuracy and ensuring that it complies with prevailing copyright and privacy laws and regulations. 
  • Assess information needs of website visitors and ensuring meeting them in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Transform specialized contents into user-friendly-contents that are easily understandable to general public besides maintaining consistency among all the contents.
  • Work closely with other Web professionals, such as Web designers, developers and webmasters to determine the best way to present information online.
  • Monitor website visitors' behavior by reviewing website statistics to ensure that web content meets the needs and interests of website visitors.
  • Check page popularity by the number of visitors and removing content that has low levels of interest. Encourage feedback by providing the means for visitors to leave comments.
 Eligibility Criteria:  
 Qualification
Masters or Bachelors (16 years) degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or English or any other discipline related to SBP's working from HEC recognized universities or equivalent degree from a reputable foreign university. IT certifications related to website operations/applications will be an advantage.
 Age Maximum 40 years, relaxable in case the candidate posseses exceptional qualification and experience.
 Experience At least ten (10) years of post qualification experience with 03 years in middle management capacity in well established national or international institution.


3. Web Designer (OG-2)


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular.js, Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation, AJAX skills are essential.
  • Develop, test and troubleshoot across multiple browsers, platforms and devices, including tablets and smart phones.
  • Deliver best-in-class front end code for use within a responsive framework across mobile and desktop devices to continually enhance and improve the performance of end user web experiences.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Animate, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Muse software. 
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developer.
  • Ability to quickly build modern CSS based web layouts.
  • Extensive knowledge of cross browser compatibility.
  • Software version control (Git/SVN) and release management experience.
  • Conceptualize simple and user friendly web designs and contents.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and Visual Mockups and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations of the websites viz: update, maintain, prepare, create, edit, manage and publish the required content.
  • Keep up-to-date with new standards, research and best practices.
  • Propose and realize new initiatives in the strategic development of the websites.
 Eligibility Criteria:  
 Qualification

Masters or Bachelors (16 years) degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Media Sciences from HEC recognized universities or equivalent degree from a reputable foreign university. Professional certifications in multimedia will be preferred.

 

 Age Maximum 31 years, relaxable in case the candidate posseses exceptional qualification and experience.
 Experience

At least 3 years' post qualification experience in web designing in a well reputed firm.

 


4. Content Producer (OG-2)


Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Create multimedia product designs using specialist software.
  • Expert in using technical software packages, such as Flash, 3ds Max, Maya, LightWave, Softimage and Cinema 4D
  • Experience of Adobe illustrator, After Effects, Unity3D and Adobe Edge Animate, 2D Animation, Special Effects and able to create short animation videos
  • Record dialogue and work with editors to compose various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce final product.
  • Creation of motion design for video concepts and finished product. 
  • Produce media elements (graphics, audio, video), assets, and visual treatments for use across a variety of platforms (e.g. web, mobile, presentations, icons, banners, ecards and print).
  • Develop and use skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, In Design and After Effects.
  • Meet and liaison with stakeholders to discuss requirements and project progress..
  • Understand SBP website and social media visitors and act according to their interest and introducing new and interactive contents to enhance utility of SBP website and social media.
  • Write code to programme functions, graphics, sounds and digital animation and testing applications and fix any problems that arise.
  • Keep up to date with technological and software developments.
  • Identify new contents of readers' interests and accordingly produce contents that are user-friendly, effective and appealing.
  • Work with designer and developers to ascertain feasibility of new contents postings.
 Eligibility Criteria:  
 Qualification

Masters or Bachelors (16 years) degree in Information Technology or Media Related Studies from HEC recognized universities or equivalent degree from a reputable foreign university. Certifications in website operations/Multimedia skills will be preferred.

 

 Age Maximum 31 years, relaxable in case the candidate posseses exceptional qualification and experience.
 Experience

At least 3 years' post qualification experience in Multimedia Programming specially dealing with Website/social media operations. The candidate must have a portfolio of at least 5 on-line projects as Multimedia Programmer.
