State Bank of Pakistan

State Bank of Pakistan, the Central Bank of the country, regulates the monetary and credit system of Pakistan and fosters its growth in the best national interest with a view to securing monetary stability and optimum utilization of the country's productive resources. In order to strengthen the institutional capacity in the area of Information Technology and to meet emerging challenges, applications are invited from high calibre and dynamic professionals for the following positions, based at Karachi.

1. Deputy Director - IT Governance (OG-3)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Develop and formalize Enterprise IT Governance Framework as per the adopted International Standard and its implementation.
Execute IT Governance in accordance with the approved framework and identify gaps if any and devise resolutions.
Develop and formalize Enterprise IT Strategy and assist its implementation. 
Develop IT Management Policies on the basis of International Standards and best practices.
Monitor and report implementation of policies and compliance of Audit.
Coordinate with departments to gather, rationalize and summarize enterprise IT Requirements.
Convert IT needs in technical/other resources requirements for acquisitions.
Keep update on the above with the technical advancement and emerging trends.
Prepare proposals and maintain up-to-date records of the activities and developments of the Division.
Prepare and review IT related Policy & Regulatory directives to assist relevant departments of SBP.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: Maximum 35 years.
Qualification: Masters or Bachelors degree (16 years) in Computer Science/Computer Systems/Computer Engineering/Management Information System/Business Administration from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university.
Experience: At least six (06) years relevant post qualification experience.
Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of:

  • Enterprise IT Governance Frameworks (such as COBIT, ITIL)
  • IT Strategy Development
  • Systems, Applications
  • Networks
  • Databases and Security from designing
  • Procurement, Business Processes and Acquisition level


2. Deputy Director - Knowledge Management (OG-3)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Coordinate with business departments to identify user requirements and analysis for ECM, automation of business workflows and collaboration tools and prepare related technical documents.
Develop corporate taxonomy for information storage, access and retrieval.
Identify appropriate technology solutions to meet business requirements of KM systems. 
Prepare RFPs/ bidding documents for requisite technical procurements, assist/ coordinate through the procurement process with concerned stakeholders for the acquisition of systems.
Develop, customize, test, train and deploy KM components (ECM, Taxonomy, business workflows, collaboration tools).
Design and develop Business Intelligence dashboards.
Actively participate in solution design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Maximum 35 years.
Qualification: Masters or Bachelors degree (16 years) in Computer Science/Computer Systems/Computer Engineering/Management Information System/Business Administration from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university.
Certification in relevant ECM solutions (e.g. Microsoft Sharepoint, Oracle Web Centre, IBM ECM Suite, OpenKM) will be preferred.
Experience: At least six (06) years relevant post qualification experience in ECM implementation.

3. Assistant Director - Knowledge Management (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Coordinate with business departments to identify user requirements and analysis for ECM, automation of business workflows and collaboration tools and prepare related technical documents.
Assist in the development of corporate taxonomy for information storage, access and retrieval.
Assist in indentifying appropriate technology solutions to meet business requirements of the KM systems. 
Prepare RFPs/ bidding documents for requisite technical procurements, assist/ coordinate through the procurement process with concerned stakeholders for the acquisition of systems.
Assist in development, customization, testing, training and deployment of KM components (ECM, Taxonomy, business workflows, collaboration tools).
Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
Actively participate in solution design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.

4. Assistant Director - Projects (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Develop, customize, test, train and deploy requisite systems’ hardware and/or software components.
Design and develop management dashboards.
Utilize Project Management tools for Project Plans, mentoring and track progress and reporting to management. 
Coordinate with business departments to identify user requirements,, analyze and identify solutions for automation of business functions and processes.
Actively participate in solution design process by providing creative and practical ides and solutions in the teamwork environment.
Prepare related technical document, Project Reporting, SOPs and manuals.
Prepare RFPs/bidding document for requisite technical procurements, assist/coordinate procurement process with concerned stakeholders for acquisition of systems..

Eligibility Criteria
Age: Maximum 31 years.
Qualification:

Masters or Bachelors degree (16 years) in Computer Science/Computer Systems/Computer Engineering/Management Information System/Business Administration  from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university.

Certification of PMP and Software Solutions will be preferred.
Experience: At least three (03) years relevant post qualification experience of IT Project Coordination

5. Assistant Director - IT Governance (OG-2)

Assessment Test and Panel Interview

  • Shortlisted applicants meeting above eligibility criteria will be required to appear in an assessment test.
  • Qualified candidates will be invited for panel interview.
