This mural was painted in 1984 by Sadequain for new building of State Bank of Pakistan at Peshawar.
He has used lighter and brighter colors, with healthy, robust figures, happily engaged in their pursuits of industry and agriculture and striving for the knowledge of earths treasures and mysteries of the skies.
The Laboratory of Natural Universe
This mural was executed by Sadequain during a three month period in 1961. It was done by scratching the paints with a knife to highlight its features which needed extreme care and patience. It depicts, as is apparent, human endeavor and mans quest for treasures of earth and heaven.
Time's Treasuries
This mural originally painted in 1961. It is his first large mural celebrating the intellectual achievements of man, and depicts 46 major figures of renowned personalities divided into three main sections. These sections are separated by dividing figures.
In the middle is the artist Sadequain himself showing his pulse to Hakim Al-Razi.
Industry & Agriculture I
Like the other murals by Sadequain, this one also deals with industry and agriculture. The right hand side shows the ripening fields of agriculture and the left shows the industrial progress. The centre figures of a man and a woman are showing the results of their endeavor. The woman naturally holds the fruit of the earth and the man is the bearer of industrial output.
