Day-28: When you start putting tape on yourself and your offspring cause there is nothing else left to do.

First Birthday: One year old. Our darling Scheherzad celebrated her first birthday in Canada, away from the people who love her the most and in the midst of a global crisis aka Covid19 Which meant that we couldn't have friends over, and she couldn't celebrate it with her daycare friends. So we blew lots of balloons, baked a cake, sang songs all day, video called our family, enjoyed our presents, and just had the best day. In the midst of this chaos as we all join together in solidarity to our community, it is reassuring to know that maybe the world isn't such an awful place and it just might still thrive. Because at the end of the day that is what you want... a beautiful world for your baby to grow in.

Day 40: We tried to take a #Selfie together... which we have hardly do. Thus the following results.

Late night with Ahmed Ijaz: On the menu:Chicken Schnitzel with mustard sauce. Recipe from chilitochoc. Didn't have mushrooms so.. mustard it was. Movie: Extraction on Netflix which so far promises to be an immense disappointment. But it is after ages that we are watching one together since time was always an issue. So that's the upside I guess.

Our adventures on Day 51: And some light and shadow play.

Day 53: Used old carton boxes to do some fun arty stuff. Painted kinda our neighbourhood while Ahmed has decided to undertake a huge building construction project with cut up windows etc. Knowing Ahmed, the expected end date of this project will be 2030. Hopefully we will be out of this pandemic phase till then.
