SCHEME FOR FREIGHT SUBSIDY ON EXPORTS

It has been observed that some of the Authorized Dealers do not exercise reasonable care while processing the cases of Freight Subsidy. In a number of cases, the Checklist of the documents as required for forwarding cases of claim of Freight Subsidy under Public Notice No. 2(4)/2004-PPI dated 25th October 2004 is not attached with the documents. This has been viewed seriously. Authorized Dealers are advised to ensure that the Checklist of documents being submitted is invariably attached with the claims. Further, while forwarding the claims, the Authorized Dealers should ensure that the documents forwarded are in accordance with the Checklist.
