CUSTOMS GENERAL ORDER NO.12/94

SUBJECT: DIPLOMATIC BONDED WAREHOUSES – SALES TOENTITLED PERSONS / ORGANIZATIONS ETC.

In suppression of all previous orders/instructions on the subject noted above, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to order as under:-

1. Licensees of Diplomatic Bonded Warehouses established under Section 13 of the Customs Act, 1969 shall open foreign currency accounts in their respective names.
2. Entitled persons/organization etc., shall make payment for purchase from the warehouses through cross cheques, pay orders or drafts issued in favour of the licensees from their foreign currency accounts maintained in Pakistan.

The order shall come into force on 26-06-1994.
