Chief
Minister’s Agricultural Credit Scheme for NWFP
§Agriculture Policy NWFP 2005 adequately high lighted agriculture credit and
accordingly the credit scheme namely “Chief Minister’s Agriculture Credit Scheme for the small growers of NWFP”
has been introduced in 2006.
§Rs. 100.00 million have been earmarked for this purpose (Provided by
Agriculture Extension Department) and an MOU is signed by the
Agriculture Department NWFP and Bank of Khyber.
§These loans are provided on Personal Guarantees. The maximum limit of
secured loan is Rs. 100,000/- while unsecured loan upto 30,000/-
§ Only 6.5% is charged as
mark up on the loan in-order to meet bank service charges.
