Please refer to Payment Systems Department (PSD) Master Circular/2005 dated August 27, 2005 on the captioned subject wherein all Banks and Switch Operators were required to submit Payment Systems Statements on Quarterly basis to PSD. Later on, through PSD Circular No.05 of 2015, dated November 27, 2015, Microfinance Banks (MFBs) were also advised to submit Payment Systems’ Statements.
2. Keeping in view the emergence of new payment products and services and the need for enhanced oversight by way of collecting payment system data, PSD in consultation with all relevant stakeholders has developed new data reporting templates that would replace the existing ones. In this regard, all Banks / MFBs are advised to start data reporting with effect from 15th October, 2016 for the quarter ended September, 2016.
3. All Banks/ MFBs shall submit data within 15 days after the end of reporting quarter via email ( at
[email protected] ),digitally signed by Head of Compliance and Head of Operations or Officials having equivalent designations;
4. All Banks/ MFBs shall submit data strictly as per the specified data templates in MS Excel formats (Refer to Annexures) without any amendments. While preparing and filling out the data reporting templates, please comply with the instructions provided therein.
5. Any mis/late reporting and non-submission of the data may attract penal action under the relevant applicable laws.
6. This circular supersedes the above mentioned Circulars on the subject.
