This is to bring to your attention that Circular No. IHFD/900(HF)/ 63/ 2008 dated February 11, 2008 issued by Infrastructure and Housing Finance Department, State Bank of Pakistan, supersedes all circulars issued earlier requiring submission of quarterly and monthly returns on Infrastructure and Housing Finance.

Furthermore, please note that the above instructions are applicable in respect of submission of quarterly statements from the quarter January-March 2008. It is also reiterated that the said statements are required to be submitted latest by the 10th of the month following the quarter to which it relates.

You are therefore, requested to advise your concerned officials to ensure its timely submission forthwith failing which we shall be constrained to take punitive action as prescribed under the Banking Companies Ordinance 1962.
