New
eCIB launched
The
Consumer Credit Bureau of State Bank of Pakistan,
Credit Information Bureau (CIB) is launched.
In the newly launched system the CIB is maintaining
all loans by member financial institutions.
This new eCIB system is run parallel for some
time with the existing system having loans of
Rs. 0.5 million and above.
State Bank of Pakistan has launched its consumer
credit bureau by abolishing the present credit
reporting limit of Rs. 0.5 million.Now all outstanding
loans irrespective of any amount are being reported
to the CIB
