Corporate Services and Strategic Planning Department (CS&SPD) is secretariat to the SBP Board, Board's Committees, Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), Executive Committee (EC) and SBP Management Forum (SBP MF). It is entrusted with the responsibility of preparing minutes of the meetings; providing protocol services to the Board and MPC members; dissemination of decisions and their compliance status; including matters related to overall corporate governance of the Board, MPC and EC affairs. CS&SPD coordinates with the concerned Government Ministry regarding SBP Board and allied matters and is responsible for maintaining the record of the terms and conditions of the appointment of Governor, Deputy Governors, Board Members and External Members of the MPC. The department at times undertakes special projects and assignments as advised by the Governor and provides protocol services to the members of the Board and MPC. The department is the focal point for preparation of the Strategic Plan of the Bank, its implementation and periodic monitoring. It also manages the business planning activities at the State Bank of Pakistan.
