This refers to BSD letter No. BSD/SU-61/101/7494/2004 dated December 9, 2004, forwarding therewith the specimen for Credit Information Reports and data collection formats for submission of credit data to the Credit Information Bureau, State Bank of Pakistan.
2 The above mentioned forms were designed to capture information on loans and advances only. In order to increase the coverage of the Electronic Credit Information Bureau (eCIB), it has now been decided that all member financial institutions will also report details of selected portfolio of their investments to the bureau against the specific product codes as enumerated at serial No.1 to 10 of Annexure –A. Further, an updated list of product codes to be used for field No. 7 of consumer and corporate CIB –II is given in Annexure-B.
3 All member financial institutions of the eCIB are therefore advised to start collecting and compiling the required information in electronic form, so as to submit it to the bureau from the month ending November 30, 2011. Further, they are also advised to download the required patch from online eCIB inquiry system after refresh of data for the month of October 2011.
