Domestic Internship Opportunities at State Bank of Pakistan

State Bank of Pakistan offers a number of internship programs to the students of Pakistani universities/institutes accredited by Higher Education Commission (HEC) to provide them insight about the core functionalities and working of the Bank. The students nominated for these internships are selected by the universities/institutes according to prescribed criteria. Thus all internship arrangements are finalized in collaboration with internship and placement offices of the respective universities/institutes.

Following 6 – week internship programs are offered by SBP every year at Karachi:

The interns are paid a stipend of Rs.5,000/- for four weeks and Rs.2,000/- as living allowance for outstation candidates (those who come from outside Karachi), while female students may avail SBP hostel facility in lieu of living allowance. For each of the above programs female students’ participation is kept at around 50% of the total strength.

All the interested students who wish to do internship at SBP are advised to contact the internship and placement offices of their respective universities/institutes. SBP does not entertain any individual application for arranging internship program.
