Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Undertake research and analysis on sector specific issues and produce independent write-ups.
- Prepare working papers and briefs for senior management on prevailing economic issues.
- Monitor developments taking place in the assigned sector and maintain a close interaction with other Departments and Agencies/Firms outside SBP to gather insights on the performance, challenges and outlook for the sector.
- Collaborate with a team of Analysts working on economic issues, framework and forecasting models.
- Undertake any other assignments as entrusted by the SBP management.
| Qualification |
Master's or Bachelor’s (16 years) degree from HEC recognized universities or equivalent degree from a reputable foreign university in Economics. |
| Age |
Maximum age limit is 35 years. |
| Experience |
At least 05 years of post qualification experience of analytical research and writings. |
| Competencies |
Strong writing and presentation skills, knowledge of econometric software and sound understanding of data related issues. |
| Compensation |
Competitive compensation package in the salary scale of OG-3 position including loan facility, medical, provident fund, gratuity and other benefits as per Bank’s rules. |
