Testing
ØGuidelines on
stress testing were issued to banks on June 26, 2007. Banks were required to
operationalise their formal stress testing framework in accordance with these
guidelines from March 31, 2008.
ØThe guidelines were updated on
December 2, 2013, in tune with BCBS Principles for Sound Stress Testing Practices and
Supervision, after considering the stress
experienced by banks in the recent past.
