Further to our Circular Letter No.50 dated 2nd November, 1999 on the above subject, it has been decided that banks may allow operations in the foreign currency accounts maintained under F.E. 25 Scheme of those politicians who are neither defaulters on any of their obligations to banks/NBFIs nor do they appear as defaulters in the reports of Credit Information Bureau.
