Please refer to Rule-8 of the Rules of Business for NBFIs as amended form time to time.

It has been with immediate effect to give the same treatment to subordinated loans for the purpose of above Rule as is being presently given to them in Rule-7 of the Rule of Business for NBFIs.

The following new paragraph © may be added under Rule-8:

"(c) For the purpose of this Rule subordinated loans shall be counted as equity."

Other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain unchanged.
