In supersession of BPRD Circular No. 22 dated 15th July, 1997, banks/financial institutes are allowed to introduce viable new products and mobilize deposit Schemes provided the same are in according with principles of Sharia and reasonable profitability is ensured. All such Schemes should automatically be copied to the State Bank Of Pakistan with full justification for their introduction.
