In terms of the Finance Division Notification No.3(4)Bkg-1/2010 dated July 18, 2011 the Federal Government in terms of Section 15(3) (a) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (XXXIII of 1956) has accepted the resignation of Mr. Shahid Hafiz Kardar, Governor SBP who has resigned from his office. Mr. Yaseen Anwar, Deputy Governor, SBP has been appointed as Acting Governor, in terms of Section 10 (3A) of the SBP Act, 1956.
