Please refer to Master Circular of Unclaimed Deposits issued vide BPD Circular N0.07 dated 21st July, 2006, providing therein a certificate (Annexure C), submission of which was a procedural requirement, on the part of Banks/ DFIs, for seeking refund of unclaimed deposits, surrendered to SBP, under Section 31 of the BCO,1962.

2.       It has now been decided that henceforth only the ‘Head of Internal Control (Audit), besides Branch Manager, will be the authorized persons to sign this document. A copy of revised Annexure - C is enclosed.

3.       Other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
